Roman Cattaneo
After doing a six month internship with the Capture and Effects group, I became a software engineer within the same group. I received a M.Sc. in Computational Science and Engineering from ETH Zurich in 2017 with specializations in Computational Physics and Atmospherical Physics. Using electives, I also set a focus on high-performance computing relying on both, single-core optimizations as well as parallelization techniques. During my studies I had the chance to work on the Swiss weather prediction model while doing a Semester Thesis at MeteoSwiss, to assist a research group at ETH and to do an internship in the computer graphics domain.
