Xianyao Zhang

Research Area: Neural Rendering

I am an Associate Research Scientist at Disney Research|Studios with the Rendering group. My research interests are in image synthesis, particularly through efficient light transport simulation using machine learning and deep learning techniques. Prof. Markus Gross supervised my Ph.D. at the Computer Graphics Laboratory of ETH Zürich, focusing on neural denoising methods for Monte Carlo renderings. Before that, I obtained my MSc degree from ETH Zürich and my bachelor’s degree from Peking University in China.
