Research Area: VFX

I’m an Associate Research Scientist with the VFX group at DisneyResearch|Studios, where I work on various face-related image and video generation tasks. My core research interests include various areas of deep learning and especially generative modeling because I find it most satisfying if I can see the impact of my code visually. I received my B.Eng. and M.Sc. in Germany and completed my Ph.D. at the Computer Graphics Laboratory at ETH Zurich in cooperation with DisneyResearch|Studios in 2024. During my Ph.D., I was supervised by Prof. Dr. Markus Gross and Dr. Romann M. Weber and worked on face image quality assessment, identity-conditioned face generation, and video motion editing.
