Research Area: Neural Rendering
I am a Research Scientist at DisneyResearch|Studios. My research interests are in light transport simulations, sampling and reconstruction for Monte-Carlo rendering, real-time rendering and machine learning. I received my PhD in Computer Science in 2016 from the University of Bern under the supervision of Prof. Matthias Zwicker for my contributions to gradient-domain rendering. Before joining Disney Research, I worked in the medtech industry on real-time rendering and medical ultrasound simulations.
