Research Area: VFX
I am an Associate Research Scientist at Disney Research|Studios, and a part of the VFX group. My research interests span the broad areas of performance capture, machine learning, animation, neural rendering, generative models, and generally anything to do with graphics or learning. My Ph.D. in the Computer Graphics Laboratory of ETH Zürich was supervised by Prof. Markus Gross. Prior to starting my PhD, I completed my Masters’s in the Department of Electrical Engineering and Information Technology, also at ETH Zurich, where my focus was on machine learning and computer vision. Before moving to Switzerland, I received my bachelor’s degree in Electronics and Communications Engineering in 2013 from the Madras Institute of Technology in India, and also later worked for 3 years as an embedded electronics engineer.
